2.1 Key steps when washing hands with soap:
- Wet your hands with clean, running water, turn off the tap, and apply soap;
- Lather by rubbing hands together with the soap. Lather your palms, the backs of your hands, between your fingers, under your nails, the tips of your fingers, and wrists;
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds;
- Rinse your hands under running water;
- Dry your hands using a clean cloth/single-use towel (families using the same towel isn't recommended by doctors).

- Before preparing or eating food and drinks;
- After using the washroom;

3. Hand dryers are NOT effective in killing the coronavirus. (Reference Source: https://www.mygov.in/covid-19/?target=webview&type=campaign&nid=0)
4. Consider routes of transmission. Estimates show that most people touch their face every 2-5minutes. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands to avoid infecting yourselfwith viruses on your hands. Drawing attention to habituated face touching behaviour can improve compliance with hand-hygiene practice.
